Couple's Simultaneous Ministries Lead to New Conversions in Negros Occidental

News August 5, 2025

Pastor Jophone Galanza, president of the Negros Occidental Conference, and his wife, Meagan, recently concluded two simultaneous evangelistic seminars in different locations, which led to significant community engagement and conversions.

Meagan Galanza, women’s and children’s ministries director of the conference, spearheaded one of the events held at Villa Luiza Housing in Cadiz City, Negros Occidental. The evangelistic event, which ran from July 27 to August 2, 2025, focused on the theme “Paglaum sa Panimalay” (Hope in the Home).

“Many souls have been brought to the feet of Jesus,” Galanza said. “This is one of my most memorable and beautiful experiences working alongside my husband and my fellow workers. It feels wonderful to be a part of the work of God.”

She also expressed her gratitude for the favorable weather and divine guidance that supported the week-long campaign. “I pray that everyone desires to invite more family members to the kingdom of heaven.”

Through the working of the Holy Spirit and the dedication of lay workers, over 70 souls were baptized on a Friday evening during an event officiated by Pastor Keven Cañal, NOC ministerial director.

Meanwhile, Pastor Jophone Galanza, NOC president, held his evangelistic crusade in Victorias City with the same theme.

More than 50 souls gathered at the feet of Jesus on that baptism night of August 1, 2025. Pastor Galanza himself, alongside Pastor Samuel Bingkian, Victorias/ EB Magalona district pastor, officiated the ceremony.

NOC rejoiced at this massive addition to the family, strengthening their commitment to labor more for the Lord.
