In response to the simultaneous evangelistic efforts organized by the Adventist Laymen’s Services and Industries and the Adventist Professionals (ASI/Ad Pro), the Chinese-Filipino Seventh-Day Adventist Church, in collaboration with the Cebu City Districts, is hosting a “History and Bible Prophecy Seminar” at the ARC Towers in Cebu City.
Scheduled for May 18 to May 24, 2025, this seminar is part of an ongoing evangelistic initiative taking place at 262 sites across the Central Philippine Union Conference.
The week-long event at ARC Towers features Pastor James Rubrico, the ministerial director for the Central Philippine Union Conference, as the guest speaker. His nightly lectures focus on exploring the connections between ancient history and biblical predictions.
The series began on the opening night with the topic “The Rise and Fall of World Empires in Bible Prophecy.” The second night highlighted “The Messiah in Prophecy,” followed by “Signs of the Times: Past and Present” on the third night.
Additional topics related to end-times and Bible prophecies will be discussed on the subsequent nights, including “The Last Days and the Second Coming” and “How History Confirms Bible Accuracy.”
Under the leadership of Pastor Kim Felias of the Chinese-Filipino SDA Church and Pastor Julius Banal of Cebu City, the preparations and nightly program have gone smoothly.
Pastor Felias has invited church members to engage in continuous prayer for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit and the program’s success.
“God works in ways we don’t anticipate,” he said after one of the evening events.”
