Four individuals were baptized during the culmination program of the Central East Bohol district association, held last Saturday at Cahayag SDA Church, Cahayag, Sierra Bullones, Bohol.
Pastor Abimael Lazarte, district pastor of West Bohol District, officiated the ceremony.
These four newly baptized members are the fruits of a recently concluded simultaneous evangelistic crusade participated in by nine local churches within the district last April 6 to 11, 2025.
Three of them reaffirmed their faith through rebaptism, while one was baptized for the first time.
The success of this evangelistic effort was made possible through the dedicated care and outreach of the Lumbay Church. Their consistent follow-up, hospitality, and nurturing relationships with visitors played a vital role in leading souls to Christ.
The district leader, Pastor Ron Sheridan Guilaran, expressed his gratitude for the dedication and enthusiasm shown by the church members in supporting the work and urged them to continue advancing the mission with unwavering commitment.
“Let us continue nurturing the strong relationships we’ve built with our visitors and stay committed to following up, so we can invite them again to our upcoming evangelistic meetings,” Pastor Guilaran said.
Through the strengthening of care groups, members actively nurtured relationships, provided spiritual support, and helped bring individuals closer to Christ.
The evangelistic efforts made a meaningful impact by reaching out to those who had drifted away from the faith, as well as seekers of the truth, offering them renewed hope and a clearer path toward faith.
This effort served not only as an opportunity for revival but also as a reaffirmation of the church’s commitment to Total Member Involvement, with the hope that the seeds planted through these efforts will continue to bear much fruit in the days to come.
