As part of the Harvest 2025 evangelism initiative led by the Southern Asia-Pacific Division, the Samar Mission has launched a simultaneous evangelism campaign, mobilizing local churches across various districts.
This initiative has seen an overwhelming participation of 154 Gospel speakers and 116 health lecturers across 71 venues, bringing messages of hope and holistic well-being to communities throughout the region.
Total Member Involvement
One of the most inspiring aspects of this evangelism campaign is the total involvement of local church members. Hundreds have actively participated as preachers, health lecturers, prayer warriors, ushers, and support staff. Their dedication in organizing venues, assisting speakers, and reaching out to their communities has been instrumental in the success of this initiative. The collaboration between pastors, lay members, and church volunteers exemplifies the true spirit of mission work.
Phases of Evangelism
The campaign is organized into three distinct phases across various church districts. From March 16-22, 2025, some local churches initiated early evangelistic efforts. The following week, from March 23-29, 2025, the majority of churches are holding evangelistic meetings. Finally, during the period of March 31 to April 5, 2025, additional churches will conduct their evangelism programs.
District-Wide Engagement
A breakdown of participation by district shows remarkable commitment to spreading the Gospel and promoting health awareness:
Calbayog City District: 12 venues, 35 gospel speakers, and 19 health lecturers.
Catarman District: 5 venues, 23 gospel speakers, and the highest number of 27 health lecturers.
Salcedo District, West Central Seaside District- and Tarangnan District: Each had 10 health lecturers, ensuring comprehensive outreach.
Other key districts include the North Western Association of Islands, Borongan, Balicuatro, and Catbalogan, all actively contributing to the evangelistic efforts.
Mass Baptism Set for March 29, 2025
The campaign will culminate in a grand Harvest Celebration on March 29, 2025, featuring a baptism to be conducted simultaneously across multiple locations. The administrative committee has assigned ordained pastors to officiate the baptisms in their respective areas:

A United Effort for the Gospel
This large-scale evangelism effort is a testament to the unity and dedication of local churches within the Samar Mission territory. With the combined efforts of church leaders, volunteers, and evangelists, this initiative is poised to bring about a significant spiritual revival in the region.
As the March 29 Harvest Celebration approaches, the Samar Mission anticipates witnessing the fruits of this dedicated evangelistic work, with many souls committing their lives to Christ through baptism.
