In collaboration with church leaders and members, the Northeastern Masbate District Association of Churches in Masbate has successfully completed 17 evangelistic efforts since the beginning of 2025.
These joint efforts among the 13 churches in the district resulted in 243 individuals accepting Jesus through baptism.
Pastor Roberto Muñez Gedaro, the district pastor of NEMAC, expressed his joy regarding the success of the recent evangelistic activities.
“I praise God for all the support these efforts have received, from the leaders of the Central Philippine Union Conference and the Central Visayan Conference to the church elders, members of NEMAC, and all department leaders,” he exlaimed.
He shared how these churches under NEMAC tirelessly supported God’s work. Youth, women, elders, ASI- AdPro officers and general members participated in the planning and contributed to the actual events from the start of the year up to this month’s latest event.
“This won’t be the last—more are underway. We will continue to work with zeal until Jesus comes,” Gedaro added.
NEMAC also joined in the simultaneous evangelism program for the first quarter of the Harvest 2025, baptizing 35 individuals during the unified event.
Furthermore, when the Adventist-Laymen’s Services & Industries and Adventist Professional’s evangelism month in May came, they also participated in another simultaneous evangelism.
One of the locations for the elite evangelism event took place in Boulevard, Masbate City, from May 18 to 24, featuring Dr. Allen Yasay Bano as the guest speaker. These two sites, dedicated to sharing Christ in the marketplace and workplace, won a total of 48 baptisms.
NEMAC’s targeted areas for ministry do not focus solely on easier paths; they also engage in elite evangelism, bus ministry, and jail ministry.
“We don’t allow women to fall behind in evangelism — we also keep the fire burning. We conduct our own crusades, and the women are enthusiastic about it,” Marilyn Gedaro, Pastor Gedaro’s wife, shared.
In addition to going out in the fields, or supporting evangelistic activities, the women ensured they were equipped, empowered, and prepared for the challenges ahead. In fact, they have just completed their Level 2 Women Leadership Certification Training.
From January to June, the women have conducted 2 evangelistic meetings, resulting in a total of 18 baptisms.
For this month of June, NEMAC had just concluded its simultaneous “Called to Be Faithful” evangelistic efforts on June 14, 2025. These culminated on the Sabbath of the Masbate-wide Federation of Churches held at Winter’s Farm Resort in Cayabon, Milagros, Masbate.
From June 8-14, these simultaneous local church evangelistic campaigns took place in Purok 1 Brgy. Asid, Masbate City, and Purok Bayabas, Paraiso, Milagros.
Guest speakers from CVC and Philippine Publishing House took the evangelism rein during this week as guest speakers.
On the final day, June 14, Winter’s Farm Resort saw 45 precious individuals publicly declaring their faith through baptism.
This brought the NEMAC District’s total baptisms to an impressive 243 precious souls as of June 14, 2025, marking a successful outreach effort across the region.
