The 8th General Constituency Meeting of the Central Visayan Conference, which took place on December 3-5, 2025, concluded successfully. This event marked the beginning of a new five-year administrative term (quinquennium 2026-2030), with the election of new officers and directors who will assume leadership roles.

As the highest decision-making body, the Constituency Meeting spent rigorous hours deliberating. Careful electoral processes were carried out through fervent, united prayers, and the election of the new leadership for the 2026-2030 quinquennium took place.

Delegates from churches and institutions across the CVC discussed the future direction of the conference through critical governance and accountability activities. The outgoing administration presented the mission's progress, as well as departmental and financial reports, providing delegates with full accountability for the church's progress, challenges, and stewardship over the past term.

Deliberations and votes on some consideration for amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws were held, along with strategic plans to advance the church's mission.

The decisions made during these sessions are designed to ensure electoral transparency in the next constituency meeting, sound church management, fiscal responsibility, and an integrated focus on evangelism in the coming years.

The event culminated in a deeply moving commitment program, featuring a message from Pastor Renito Inapan, the newly elected treasurer of the East Central Philippine Union Conference.

Pastor Inapan powerfully redefined the missionary role for every church member, urging a personal, localized focus on sharing the gospel. He emphasized that the call to mission is universal, not limited to vocational ministers or distant fields.

"You may not go across the seas, but you can go across the streets. You may not stand in a pulpit, but you can stand for truth in your home and your neighborhood."

This message was a call to action, that everyone is and can be a missionary. "This means everyone can share the gospel or evangelize," he said.

The commitment program moved the delegates as the new leaders were presented and dedicated in prayer, seeking God's wisdom and guidance to be upon them as they take on the leadership responsibilities.

Finally, after days of prayer, worship, open discussions, and the election of new leaders, the delegates enter into Sabbath rest and thanksgiving for CVC's 60th Anniversary.
