Central Visayas marked a significant milestone in media ministry with the inauguration of the new Hope Channel Cebu studio on February 12, 2025.

The ceremony took place at the Central Visayan Conference headquarters located on Rio De Janeiro Street in Vista Grande, Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu. It kicked off with the attendance of distinguished leaders dedicated to expanding the media ministry as widely as possible.

Among these guests were Pastor Michael Palar, Hope Channel coordinator for the Southern Asia-Pacific Division (SSD), and Pastor Sherman Fiedacan, Hope Channel Philippines president.

Pastor Berdandino Maniego, communication director for the Central Philippine Union Conference, and Pastor Lemmuel Lauron, station manager of Hope Channel Central Philippines, were also present.

This project's success was made possible by the leadership of Pastor Lelord Arranguez, the communication director for the Central Visayan Conference. It also recognized the full support of Pastor Charles Nogra, the CVC president, along with his co-administrators: Pastor Abel Gutierrez, the executive secretary; Ulysses Eullaran, the treasurer; and the entire CVC staff. Their contributions were instrumental in making the studio a reality.

"We praise God for this incredible opportunity to expand our reach and bring the message of hope, love, and salvation to more people," an organizer said in a statement.

Central Visayas hoped the new studio would be a powerful instrument for touching lives and strengthening faith in places the Hope Channel Cebu team cannot reach by foot.

In a social media post, Pastor Maniego congratulated the Hope Channel Cebu team, especially Pastor Arranguez's leadership and the support of CVC administrators.

"This new studio marks a significant milestone in CVC media ministry in providing uplifting, inspiring, and enlightening messages to viewers and listeners that bring hope and transformation into their lives," Pastor Maniego said.

Hope Channel Cebu is one of the four Hope Channel television networks across CPUC, owned and operated by the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
