The Negros Occidental Conference (NOC) joyfully commenced its two-day 63rd anniversary celebration with a vibrant opening salvo: a grand caravan and a subsequent opening program held at Central Philippine Adventist College (CPAC) in Murcia.
Under the theme, “Called to be Faithful, Forward in Hope,” the event attracted members from across the conference in a spirited display of faith, unity, and fellowship.
The day began with a grand caravan that set a dynamic tone for the festivities. Vehicles from various districts of the Negros Occidental Conference assembled at a designated area in Taculing, Bacolod City.
From there, the convoy journeyed to the CPAC grounds, symbolizing unity and shared mission among the church members.
Following the caravan, church members gathered at CPAC for the official opening program. The 63rd Anniversary was formally declared open during this assembly, marking the beginning of the two-day event.
The program featured an inspiring flag-raising ceremony and a spectacular fireworks display, symbolizing unity and joy.
The celebration saw the attendance of key leaders, including administrators and directors from the Central Philippine Union Conference, alongside the leadership of the Negros Occidental Conference – comprising administrators, directors, office staff, publishing workers, NOC teachers, district pastors, and their respective delegates.
The morning celebration concluded with a sumptous breakfast, showcasing a wide variety of delicacies generously contributed by various districts of Negros Occidental.
This culinary display highlighted the province’s rich heritage, fostering a sense of community and shared celebration among attendees.
