Hope Channel Western Visayas recently concluded a weeklong evangelistic campaign, “Paglaum sa Panimalay” (Hope in the Home), in Sta. Teresa, Jordan, Guimaras. Held Feb. 2-8, the health and Bible seminar resulted in four baptisms and a renewed focus on evangelism beyond digital platforms.
Under the leadership of Pastor Rafael Sualog, communication director of the West Visayan Conference, who presented the gospel, and Manager Kenneth Decado, who presented health lectures, the Hope Channel team, alongside dedicated volunteers, took a bold step in fulfilling the mission.
The impact of this initiative extends beyond the immediate success of baptisms. It has reinforced a vision among the volunteers and church members that evangelism isn’t limited to social media platforms but a personal, hands-on ministry.
The event also reaffirmed the importance of reaching out, stepping into the mission field, and personally witnessing to those who may not have access to digital evangelism.
The Hope Channel Western Visayas team views this outreach as just the beginning. They now gear up towards another field of commitment—on-the-ground evangelistic efforts—ensuring no soul is left unreached. The ministry plans to expand its reach and continue using all available means to share the message of hope, healing, and salvation.
With God’s grace and the support of church members, donors, and volunteers, Hope Channel Western Visayas hopes to continue its mission. For them, the call to spread the gospel knows no boundaries. Guided by God, they will persist in breaking barriers and touching lives for His glory.
