Canduman Media Ministry Marks Six Years of Service

News May 28, 2025

What began as a humble initiative with a single camera and a shared passion for storytelling has now blossomed into a dynamic digital ministry, expanding the way the church shares the gospel.

The Canduman Media Ministry recently celebrated its 6th anniversary, May 24, 2025, commemorating six years of dedication to evangelism, creativity, and community through the lens of technology.

From livestreaming on Sabbath worship to capturing the quiet beauty of the people behind, the ministry has played a vital role in bridging the physical and spiritual distance—especially during the pandemic years, when digital faith spaces became sanctuaries for many.

A Mission Beyond the Lens

Pastor Sherman Fiedacan, President of Hope Channel Philippines, commended the ministry during Sabbath worship: “They are not just camera operators or tech people. They are evangelizers. Each frame they shoot, each caption they write, speaks of Christ’s presence.”

I hope that we will join together and actively participating not even producing media ministry but actively participating in sharing the gospel through media ministry “.

Started in 2019 with only a few volunteers, the ministry has grown into a full-fledged team of content creators, livestream directors, designers, and social media coordinators. Their work has reached not just in the community but also OFWs and families abroad hungry for connection to home and faith.

Behind the Scenes, Ahead in Spirit

“Most people see the final product, but they don’t see the early call times or the late midnight editing sessions and program preparation.

In six years, the ministry has documented countless events and worships. They’ve also trained young people in media production, helping them find purpose and passion within the church.

Faith in Focus

The 6th anniversary celebration wasn’t just a time to look back—it was a moment to re-ignite the mission. Looking ahead, the Canduman Media Ministry plans to expand its digital presence, explore more faith-based storytelling formats. They are also looking for more volunteers to spread the good news through media flat-form.

A Story Worth Sharing

In a noisy world full of distractions, the Canduman Media Ministry offers clarity—not just in video and sound, but in purpose. For six years, they have reminded their community that everyone has a story, every person a testimony, and every moment a glimpse of the divine—if only we learn to see it through the right lens.
