The Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries – Adventist Professionals (ASI-Ad Pro) of the Negros Occidental Conference (NOC) celebrates its fruitful involvement in the simultaneous evangelism initiative across Central Philippines.
Under the leadership of Delilah Gabitoya, an engineer, and the president of the ASI NOC chapter, along with the district officers, ASI-Ad Pro has significantly contributed to strengthening the church’s commitment to elite evangelism across Negros Occidental.
With 11 organized ASI and three Ad Pro district organizations, they held 67 simultaneous evangelistic efforts across 36 districts of the Negros Occidental on May 18 to 24, 2025. The unified evangelism culminated in the baptism of 780 individuals, including eight businesspeople and 18 professionals.
Gabitoya expressed her thoughts, stating, “The remarkable turnout for the baptisms is a clear sign of God’s hand at work, impressing the truth upon the hearts of the listeners. This was made possible through the prayers of the faithful, which prepared the field for a simultaneous harvest. We give all praise and glory to Him who is capable of doing marvelous things to fulfill His will.”
For the churches involved in the initiative, this extraordinary event stands as a testament to the power of collaboration, prayer, and the leading of the Holy Spirit in fulfilling the gospel commission.
While thankful to God above all for working on the hearts of these 780 new members added to the church, ASI Ad Pro officers also attributed the success to the leadership of Pastor Jophone Galanza, the NOC president, and his co-administrators, Pastor Brent Blando, treasurer, and Pastor Joy Cantela, the executive secretary.
During the ASI-Ad Pro Convention held at Reyna the Haven and Gardens in Tagbilaran City, Pastor Eliezer “Joer” Barlizo Jr., the president of the Central Philippine Union Conference, and Pastor Berdandino Maniego, the communication director of CPUC and ASI-Ad Pro coordinator, recognized the ASI-Ad Pro of the NOC chapter for achieving the highest number of baptisms among all other conferences and missions.
“We praise God for your support and dedication to elite evangelism,” Barlizo exclaimed while also acknowledging the leaders who contributed to the cooperative effort for the simultaneous evangelism initiative.
With the fulfillment God has granted the ASI-Ad Pro NOC chapter the opportunity to excel in soul-winning, they are now more motivated to share Christ’s message more widely and deeply in the marketplace and workplace.
