In partnership with the Capitol Center Seventh-day Adventist Church, the Capitol Center Seventh-day Adventist Elementary School, Inc. in Cebu City, hosted the Hope Impact Celebration 2025: Sharing God’s Love Through Books, Songs, and Prayers on Oct. 24, 2025.
The activity focused on distributing the book “The Great Controversy,” the “Missionary Book of the Year” at four key provincial offices: the office of the governor’s staff, the Human Resource office, the command center, and the provincial tourism office.
Pastor Edgar V. Bojos, school chairman and CCSDAC church pastor; Daylinda C. Cleto, CCSDAES school head, led the visitation, alongside church elders, teachers, parents, and pupils, led the visitation.
During each visit, the pupils rendered songs to the staff and personnel, bringing joy and spiritual refreshment to their workplaces. The team also offered prayers for the well-being of the employees and the success of their duties.
Each office head expressed gratitude and appreciation for the thoughtful visit. One office head said, “How uplifting it was to receive such kindness, encouragement, and prayers from the school and church community.”
One of the participants also shared, “The gesture reminded everyone that faith and goodness can be shared even in the simplest ways — through music, prayer, and literature that point hearts to Christ.”
The Encyclopedia of the Seventh-day Adventists has recorded that this idea for a massive, worldwide literature distribution project originated in 2006 during a Seventh-day Adventist Church worldwide leadership meeting at the General Conference headquarters in Washington, D.C., United States.
The leaders’ goal was to print large quantities of affordable missionary literature to share messages of hope globally.
The first edition of the Hope Impact project, involving the distribution of missionary materials, was held in the South American Division missionary field (which includes countries like Brazil, Argentina, etc.) in 2007.
Today, CCSDAC and CCSDAES are among those who joined the global celebration of the “Hope Impact Celebration 2025. For them, this initiative truly embodied the spirit of service and compassion — making an impact by shining the light of Jesus in the community through books, songs, and heartfelt prayers.
