A week-long seminar focused on family well-being and mental health concluded on August 2, 2025, attracting participants from local communities. It reaped 44 baptisms.
The event, conducted by Pastor Eldyn Toledo, director of the Ellen G. White Study Center and Spirit of Prophecy for the Central Philippine Union Conference, emphasized the importance of holistic health within families.
The seminar was organized by members of Central Capiz 1 church, under the leadership of Glen Corales Esico, association president, along with the district officers. This initiative was part of the church’s Total Member Involvement campaign, aimed at encouraging participation from all members.
Preparation for the seminar involved extensive groundwork by local church members and Bible workers, including Johnnel Gastador Beran and Reynaldo Tumilap Jr. Over two months, the team engaged in prayer, community visits, Bible studies, and cottage meetings to build connections with residents.
The efforts resulted in 44 baptisms in a previously unentered area. This achievement highlights the impact of implementing evangelism strategies and united prayers, especially in resistant areas.
Pastor Jemar Rondina shared his joy on a social media post, saying, “Despite countless obstacles, prejudices, and fears along the way—God’s miracle still prevails! What a powerful testimony of how the Lord reveals His mighty power when His people unite in mission.”
The seminar not only provided valuable knowledge but also strengthened familial and community bonds, positioning attendees for continued support in their spiritual journeys.
