Fifteen individuals accepted Jesus Christ through baptism during the culmination of a week-long evangelistic series held at Barangay Calamba Session Hall in Cebu City.
This evangelistic activity, held from July 6 to July 11, 2025, was in response to the Pastor’s Evangelistic Week, a simultaneous evangelism initiative conducted by all district pastors across the Central Visayan Conference.
Pastor Edgar V. Bojos, the church pastor of the Capitol Center SDA Church, conducted the event, offering a blend of both physical and spiritual nourishment.
Each evening began with informative health lectures that focused on lifestyle diseases, natural remedies, and biblical principles of wellness.
Following the health talks, Bojos delivered compelling gospel messages anchored in biblical truth and filled with the hope of salvation.
Night after night, the audience was drawn into a deeper understanding of God’s love, His plan of redemption, and the call to a transformed life in Christ.
The success of the weeklong evangelistic series was made possible through the unified efforts of the church brethren, especially the department heads of Capitol Center SDA Church.
From planning and logistics to music, health ministry, visitation, and hospitality, each department worked together in harmony to create a welcoming and Spirit-led environment.
The highlight of the event came at its conclusion when 15 individuals publicly declared their commitment to follow Jesus through the sacred rite of baptism.
For the brethren of Capitol Center Church, the success of this initiative in Barangay Calamba serves as a testimony to the power of combined ministry, where health education and gospel preaching go hand in hand, and where teamwork among God’s people brings lasting impact.
