ASI-Ad Pro Advisory Meeting Inspires Total Member Involvement in Bohol

News February 3, 2025

Bohol, Philippines – A spirit of unity and dedication filled the air as Adventist leaders and professionals came together for the Adventist Laymen-Services and Industries and Adventist Professionals (AdPro-ASI) advisory meeting in Bohol.

Led by communication directors and ASI/Ad Pro coordinators Pastor Bernie Maniego for the Central Philippine Union Conference and Pastor Lelord Aranguez for the Central Visayan Conference, the event brought together key figures, including the presidents from ASI-Ad Pro and association presidents from Bohol’s 10 districts, along with district pastors and their wives.

The meeting aimed to ignite passion and commitment among leaders to embrace Total Member Involvement (TMI), a global initiative of the Seventh-day Adventist Church that emphasizes the active participation of every church member in the church’s mission. It is a call to action for all members to involve themselves in sharing their faith and making disciples.

TMI encourages every member to actively participate in mission work. The discussions focused on strategies to mobilize church members and ensure widespread and dedicated efforts in spreading the gospel.

Pastor Arranguez appealed to the church leaders to be sincere in their preparations for the big event in May by saying, “I urge every member, including church officers, to actively participate in this year’s Harvest 2025. “

“Please prepare in advance by engaging in church revival and reformation, dedicating time to prayer and fasting, and contributing to the financing and involvement in each night’s program during the evangelistic meeting,” he added.

Another key point was the announcement of the Moral Recovery Seminar, set for May 18-24, 2025. Leaders were encouraged to prepare in phases, fostering a unified and simultaneous approach across the provinces in anticipation of this transformative event.

This Moral Recovery Seminar in May will be a simultaneous evangelism initiative across the division and is expected to play a key role in massive and widespread spiritual renewal, community engagement, and reinforcing the Great Commission—the call to spread God’s message worldwide.

As the event concluded, attendees expressed a renewed sense of purpose. Many felt spiritually invigorated, inspired by the Holy Spirit to take on a greater role in mission work.

Furthermore, Pastor Arranguez shared his expectations in this initiative: “I am expecting that our Association, ASI, and AdPrO District Officers and members will be united in planning, involving, and monitoring this program of Harvest 2025 Celebration.”

With a strengthened commitment, the Adventist community in Bohol is now more determined than ever to achieve a province-wide movement of evangelism and discipleship, ensuring the success of Total Member Involvement these days and in the years to come.
