Adventist Academy Cebu Holds Week of Prayer, Baptizes 30

Bulacao, Talisay City, Cebu, Philippines (January 13-18, 2025) -Adventist Academy Cebu, in Bulacao, Talisay City, held a Week of Prayer for its students, faculty, and staff from January 13 to 18. It culminated in the baptism of 30 students who accepted Jesus as their Savior.

With the theme “Are you Ready?” the event brought together elementary, junior high, and senior high school students to refocus their spiritual lives and deepen their connection with God.

Pastor David Gilmore, an international evangelist and leader of the Big Build Project in Australia, guided this week-long spiritual journey. Known for his engaging and heartfelt sermons, Pastor Gilmore captivated the audience with messages centered on preparing for Jesus Christ’s imminent return.

With the aim of refreshing the spiritual growth of the school community, the Week of Prayer served as a meaningful pause from the daily routines of academic life.
